Basement Vinyl is a blog and podcast inspired by the collection of LPs that was sitting in our basement for over a decade. We set up some shelves and a turntable, brought them all upstairs, and once in awhile we sit around a microphone and spout trivia and memories.

Who We Are:
Annie: Bought my first record when I was eleven (Elton John’s Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy.) Haunted record stores every weekend as a teen. Managed a record store for a few years in the mid-80s.
Pat: Obsessed with Beatles from a tender age. Once owned an upright turntable that played both sides of the record without having to turn it over! Not quite a Dead Head but saw 25 shows. Likes almost everything. Except country.
